California Insurance Inspections

Loss control inspections, done in person. Reports done right.

Who We Are

California Insurance Inspections (CII) provides comprehensive loss control and risk assessment inspections for insurance carriers, managing general agents, and underwriters. Every inspection is performed on site and in person — walking the property, documenting conditions firsthand, and photographing what underwriters need to see.

CII is built on a simple platform: experienced, in-person inspection work, backed by AI-assisted quality control at every step. Artificial intelligence is one of the cornerstones of how CII does business — not a substitute for the inspector, but a second set of eyes on every report, cross-checking photographs, form answers, and recommendations before anything is submitted. It's how a small, independent firm delivers the consistency and accuracy underwriters expect from a much larger operation.

AI-Enhanced Quality Control

A good inspection report is only as good as its details — and details are easy to miss when a report runs to dozens of form questions, scores of photographs, and a list of safety recommendations that all have to agree with each other.

That's where CII's AI-assisted review comes in. After the on-site inspection, every report passes through a structured second review before it is submitted:

  • Photographs checked against the report — descriptions, locations, and conditions documented in the photos are verified against the answers on the forms.
  • Recommendations traced to their basis — every recommendation is matched to the documented condition that supports it, so nothing is recommended without a basis and nothing documented is left without a recommendation.
  • Forms checked for completeness — no unanswered questions, no missing required photographs, no mismatches between the report, the photos, and the forms.

The inspection itself is always done by a person, on site, exercising professional judgment. The AI doesn't inspect — it proofreads, cross-references, and catches the small inconsistencies that lead to delays and follow-up requests. The result for underwriting: cleaner reports, submitted right the first time, with fewer questions coming back.
